The #biflag is flying at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office early for #BiVisibilityDay this year – through the lead-up #BiWeek.

So far it’s the only place in London’s Whitehall government quarter to have hoisted the flag, though we know it will be up over a host more public buildings both across the UK and further afield at the start of next week.

It's Bisexual Awareness Week (#BiWeek) so now seems a good time to tell my story. My original awakening that I might not be completely straight actually came during my religious mission about 14-15 years ago. That's a bad time for that sort of realization so I immediately started to suppress it. Plus with 20 years of being taught that God hates The Gay surely that had to be wrong and I couldn't possibly have any sort of attraction to guys right?
