#Automating the installation of #ArchLinux was as easy as expected. Since the #arch installation media has an #ssh server installed, i can just copy the
user_configuration.jsonanduser_credentials.jsonand call archinstall with the--silentparameter like thisarchinstall --silent --config /root/user_configuration.json --creds /root/user_credentials.json. -
Das #iso-Image von #ArchLinux, welches zu Fehlern führte, stammte aus dem Dezember. Also ein aktuelles geladen. Leider stieß ich nur auf dieselben Fehler, weshalb mein PC offenbar die Ursache ist. Schade. #Arch
Als Alternative hatte ich mir zwischenzeitlich #cachyOS besorgt. Das verlangt /boot als #fat32 zu formatieren? Bin ich bei #Windows gelandet? Damit kommt es nicht infrage. Mich hatte der #KDE-Mist im Live-Modus eh genervt. Dann eben keine Neuinstallation. Ich habe für derartige Quereleien keine Zeit mehr übrig.

TIL that #ArchLinux assigns one a #UID which is a randomly #hexadecimal number, which is kinda neat. (Why is the acronym "TIL" and not "TILT"? Why is it "kinda neat" and not "kind of neat" or "neat"? #Prosody!)

I just love how smoothly a Linux system tends to run. I forget I install it to a 7200 RPM hard disk sometimes because it feels at least as responsive as my Windows and macOS installs on SSDs.

Effectively the Archlinux Wiki instructions currently will result in #DNSLeaks. Ie. you're telling the ISP the site that you are about to visit over Tor.
This eliminates your #anonymity/privacy and any #security you thought you might have from #privacy for that session.
Again, if you have an account at the Wiki, please fix ASAP.
