@sprocket And the third one, yes, #gnome needs #appindicator support very much, however, I'm not sure an extension could be added officially when bugs like these exist:
https://github.com/ubuntu/gnome-shell-extension-appindicator/issues/199I've had this issue on PopOS and it made me switch distros because of it. (Yes, I didn't know disabling the extension would make the problem go away)

#TIL: Apparently there is a maximum of 10 issues that a single pull request can reference on #GitHub.
@purejava easily exceeds this limit with his PR, adding #appindicator support to @cryptomator, solving plenty of issues caused by the dreadful #AWT #tray icons.
It took some time and effort but we're finally there. We are so grateful for this contribution and I am sure, our #linux users will be as well! Thank you! 💚

I just love how smoothly a Linux system tends to run. I forget I install it to a 7200 RPM hard disk sometimes because it feels at least as responsive as my Windows and macOS installs on SSDs.
