  1. I installed LXQt desktop on my laptop, as I have been using it on a desktop for a while.

    Artix by default using the Openbox window manager with LXQt instead of the xfwm4 that Devuan bundles with LXQt.

    So some of the shortcut key configuration is slightly different.

    Eventually, I'll get around to pairing BSPWM with LXQt, as I think that'd be fun. For right now, I'm running cortile which maximizes the windows automatically with the default I have.

    For right now, I can say that LXQt is much lighter on resources than Cinnamon on the same machine. Cinnamon on Artix seemed to be much more of a resource hog than Cinnamon on Debian and Devuan based Linux systems.

    But with LXQt, it just sips instead of gulps.

  3. Hab mir heute mal ein altes #Dell #Inspiron 1520 vorgenommen. #Debian mit #LXQt rauf, aber WLAN wollte erst nicht. Irgendwie hat 'contrib' in den Paketquellen gefehlt und damit auch die Firmware Module. Gefixt und dann ne Runde gefreut.
    Das Teil ist ca. von 2005 mit Intel #Core 2 Duo T5250 (Centrino). Dafür läuft es erstaunlich fix.
