Using Erik Dubois's KIRO iso to build my #Arch dev system. Slow but sure I'm getting there.

ArcoLinux: Arch semplificata e versatile

New feature added !

In next toolkit update you will be able to change ParallelDownloads value to suite your needs !!! I have to credit Erik from #ArcoLinux for the idea, I just made it more interactive.

That sounds like an adventurous journey through the world of Arch-based systems! It's great to hear that you had so much fun with #Garuda and your experiment with the pure #ArchLinux installation. #ArcoLinux has really captivated me; I still don't dare to go for a pure #ArchLinux installation. It's just so convenient with #ArcoLinux. A quick installation via GUI yet enjoying the benefits of #Arch. 😊 Wishing you continued success with your #Linux adventures! 🐧✨

Use #ArcoLinux, that's a dream. I love #Arch, but I'm not a purist.

These days... #Linux #KDEplasma #ArcoLinux #Arch #BTW

I'm suddenly installing #arcolinux #hyprland in dual boot with my perfectly functional #endeavorOS KDE install...

Why?
Ask my curious brain :twilightsheepish:

Am i gonna regret this?
Idk... Probably? :pinkiecrazy:

Is mom gonna tell me to get out of the computer cuz I'm statying on it for too long?
She did already!

Did the install just fail while i was writting this?
Yes...

Is this all gonna stop me?
No

Why do i do this to myself

I love #Linux

Well, to offline installation i go, not doing all that box checking again

The error seems to be with something related to pacman -Su failing, maybe it's something with the mirrors but I'm not gonna try to fix this unless i really need it, spent too long on this live sistem already

Oh dconf-editor, how I love thee. #Linux #ArchLinux #ArcoLinux #Gnome #ArchBTW

Over six month with #ArcoLinux and I have decided to try #Debian for the first time. Lets see how this pans out for me. 🤓
Will be needing to still do some #gaming with #Steam (and my GTX 1080), which worked flawless out of the box with both ArcoLinux and #EndeavourOS. 😆

@e33io First impressions after installing #ArcoLinux #Hyprland

HOT:
1. HOLY WOW, this boots fast!
2. Tiling is neat once you get used to it. I could learn to do this.

NOT:
1. Right-click all you want. Nothing will happen.
2. Tooltips are clearly NOT a priority, so we're just guessing as to what those colorful squares do, eh?
3. Calls to open Firefox from other apps is ignored...?
4. Laptop brightness keys don't function. Sunglasses needed.
5. Config files for everything
