#COSMIC is looking pretty great with the new frosted glass feature turned on! The new update seems to improve COSMIC across the board. It still has some rough edges and missing features, but I like where they're going. Great work, @system76
The artifacts around the kitty window are from the screen-capture. I'm guessing it's the ancient NVIDIA GPU causing the issue. Two-Boots thinks we should report it to the captain.

I've had such great performance and reliability from #GarudaLinux on my MacBooks that I purchased a new battery for each of them, making them fully-functional and portable once again!
Hardcase is light and portable, and the Retina display on Wolffe is just gorgeous.
Both of these were complete dogs on #macOS under Open Core Legacy Patcher, but on Garuda Linux, they fly.

I felt I wanted a change on my secondary computer (a mini PC I use for gaming) from my valve VGUI/AmigaOS combo theme, and felt like going for a Windows 7 look. Why 7 in particular? Just because I missed Aero with it's frosted glass-like transparency around the windows/taskbar and the 3D-ish close/minimise/maximise buttons of old. I'm pretty please this kitbash of several Win7-inspired theme assets looks - stars I missed Windows Aero! :apartyblobcat:

I gotta’ say, I dont think I’ve EVER been happier with a desktop environment than I am right now with Plasma 6.6.5. It does EVERYTHING I want it to do, and looks fantastic doing it.
Of course, I’m a hobbyist and not a gamer or someone who WORKS on their computer for a living, so YMMV, but this is just DE nirvana for me right here.
