I wanted to test out @freebliss 's #Super8 because I'm such an adoring fan of #FairCamp
but I didn't have any good videos to upload
so first I had to record some #guitar music
Anyway, it's really easy and it works quite well. Figuring out #kdenlive was much harder by far.

#Blender3D version 5.2 brings some excellent functionality to the #BlenderCompositor. I think I will be leaning into this and the #BlenderVideoEditor and move beyond #Kdenlive and any feelings that I should be using #DaVinciResolve (which looks amazing, but there's no free #H264 support on #linux).

I have a feature request related to #Kdenlive hardware acceleration on Intel Core Ultra 2 series processors w/ integrated NPU & Arc GPU cores. I was testing the Segment Anything AI model last week, and except for some issues trying to adjust mask selection across frames, it worked extremely well. However, I noticed it didn't take advantage of the integrated NPU or GPU cores. I was using Python 3.13.11. I was hoping @kde & @kdenlive might look into supporting Intel integrated NPU & GPU cores. Thx

I'm curious... did you make the pulsating text at the end in Kdenlive? I know there's keyframable effects, but I can't imagine an easy way of doing this without manually keyframing each letter painfully.
I've long felt that Kdenlive has a poweful engine inside it, and would hugely benefit from more easy to apply scripted templates that make effects like this easy.
I may have just missed when that already happened though! 🤣

My #DJIOsmo 3 camera actually makes proxy files by default. No more rendering proxies for editing with this camera.
I wish I knew that sooner. I wasted so much time and CPU power generating proxies. Now I mad it's not the default for all cameras.
