Do I care? Of course I care. I am not a Muslim and I am not #Islamophobic either. I am a #Buddhist who studies both the #Bible and the #Quran. Both books are seriously mis-interpreted and mis-translated. If #Christians and #Muslims come together to redo their translations and superimpose the ideas purported by the two texts, they will only learn more, not less about #YHWH.

C’è una cosa che mi piacerebbe tantissimo capire del modello interpretativo dei testi che alcuni considerano sacri.

Prendiamo ad esempio quello citato nel titolo (riporto una delle traduzioni, quella della CEI, consapevole che si tratta di traduzioni e consapevole che ne esistano altre versioni e altre traduzioni, seppure in questo specifico versetto le differenze non siano sostanziali):

Io formo la luce e creo le tenebre, faccio il bene e provoco la sciagura; io, il Signore, compio tutto questo.

Isaia 45:7, CEI

Perché quando leggo che Dio, dichiara di formare la luce e di fare il bene non mi viene mai detto che sto estrapolando le parole dal loro contesto originario, che sto interpretando in maniera malevola il loro senso, che sto applicando al divino categorie che non gli appartengono mentre quando leggo che dichiara di creare le tenebre e di provocare la sciagura i credenti mi suggeriscono di affidarmi ad una guida spirituale per meglio comprendere il senso profondo di quelle affermazioni, che Dio quando dice “(io) provoco la sciagura” in realtà non intende dire che provoca la sciagura ma vattelappesca? Come mai sono state scritte pagine e pagine di testi per giustificare una affermazione molto chiara, molto netta, poco incline ad interpretazioni e fatta fra l’altro nello stesso identico contesto di un’affermazione opposta che invece subisce un trattamento completamente diverso e viene celebrata come una grande dichiarazione d’amore di un dio benevolo? Non sarebbe più onesto accettare che, se vogliamo credere a quanto scritto e che ciò che sia scritto sia in effetti divinamente ispirato e veritieri, il dio in questione si stia descrivendo come la causa di tutti gli eventi umani, tanto quelli favorevoli quanto quelli sfavorevoli? Da quale parte della frase succitata si evince che le categorie “luce” e “bene” sono in un contesto diverso rispetto a quelle di “tenebre” e “sciagura” ? Perché se non c’è un elemento chiaro nel testo che spiega come mai le due parti della stessa frase, pronunziata nello stesso momento, nello stesso contesto, rivolta alla stessa persona vadano interpretate diversamente, allora chi lo fa sta semplicemente decidendo di ignorare un’affermazione chiara perché non coincide con un’idea del divino che però dal testo non emerge.

Per quale ragione, secondo certi cristiani, il dio JHWH non potrebbe essere sia fonte del bene che della sciagura, così come dice lui stesso? Cosa li spinge ad ignorare le sue parole? E’ forse presente un minimo di disonestà intellettuale nel decidere che cosa prendere alla lettera e che cosa invece sottoporre a interpretazioni spesso traballanti?
