Il linguaggio sul Genocidio si è diffuso in tutti gli studi televisivi come un linguaggio legittimo. Da qui in poi, si dovrebbe dire: ucciderai. Non resta che discutere chi dovrebbe essere ucciso e chi dovrebbe essere risparmiato.
Di Gideon Levy – 27 aprile 2025Era prevedibile: il linguaggio ha assunto connotazioni neonaziste. I confini sono caduti e lo spargimento di sangue è stato legittimato.
Il parlamentare del Likud Moshe Saada ha proclamato sull’emittente televisiva Canale 14 di essere “interessato” a far morire di fame un’intera nazione. “Sì, farò morire di fame gli abitanti di Gaza, sì, questo è un nostro dovere”; un cantante relativamente popolare, Kobi Peretz, è convinto che ci sia “ordinato” di annientare l’acerrimo nemico biblico Amalek. “Non provo pietà per nessun civile a Gaza, giovane o vecchio che sia. Non ho un briciolo di pietà”, avrebbe dichiarato sulla copertina del settimanale del quotidiano Yedioth Ahronoth.
I due, Saada e Peretz, sono solo due fra i tanti, ma l’etere e la stampa sono pieni di dichiarazioni del genere, con alcuni interessati a metterle in risalto per assecondare l’opinione delle masse. Un personaggio pubblico in Europa, che fosse un legislatore o un cantante, che pronunciasse tali dichiarazioni verrebbe etichettato come neonazista.La sua carriera si arresterebbe e da quel giorno in poi verrebbe emarginato per sempre. In Israele, dichiarazioni del genere fanno vendere i giornali.
Bisognerebbe chiamare questo fenomeno per nome: Istigazione al Genocidio. A onore di Saada e Peretz, si potrebbe dire che hanno fatto cadere tutte le maschere e rimosso tutti i filtri. Quello che una volta era una provocazione, spesso presente sui social media, è diventato un linguaggio mediatico normale, sollevando interrogativi come chi è a favore e chi è ancora contrario al Genocidio.
Saada e Peretz sono a favore dell’Omicidio di Massa, mentre altri sostengono solo la “privazione degli aiuti umanitari”, che è la stessa cosa, solo in una formulazione più raffinata. È la stessa crudeltà, solo in forma educata; la stessa mostruosità, solo che aderisce a una forma apparentemente più corretta.
È vero che è importante denunciare le tendenze neofasciste che si diffondono nella società e smascherarle, ma questa denuncia conferisce a questo linguaggio palesemente illegittimo la legittimità e la normalità che gli mancavano fino a poco tempo fa. Da qui in poi, si dovrebbe dire: Ucciderai. Saada e Peretz affermano che è persino un comandamento. Non resta che discutere chi debba essere assassinato e chi risparmiato.
Lentamente ma inesorabilmente, il danno a lungo termine causato dall’attacco del 7 ottobre sta venendo alla luce. Al di là delle orribili tragedie personali e nazionali, quell’attacco ha sconvolto completamente la società israeliana. Ha distrutto, forse per sempre, ogni traccia del campo della pace e dell’umanità, legittimando la Barbarie come un nobile comandamento.
Non c’è più “permesso” e “proibito” riguardo alla malvagità di Israele nei confronti dei palestinesi. È permesso uccidere decine di prigionieri e far morire di fame un intero popolo. Un tempo ci vergognavamo di tali azioni; la perdita della vergogna sta ora smantellando ogni barriera rimanente.
Forse la cosa peggiore di tutte è il pensiero che sia utile a un organo di stampa cinico e populista come Yedioth Ahronoth, soprannominato “il giornale del Paese”, sempre attento ai propri lettori, dare risalto a questo linguaggio Genocida. Il Genocidio in prima pagina non solo lo legittima, lo sanno i redattori, ma fa anche piacere ai lettori.
Il cantante Eyal Golan potrebbe essere bandito a causa della sua condotta sessuale inappropriata, ma chi bandirà il Jihadista Kobi Peretz? Dopotutto, ha ragione. “Hanno mutilato i nostri fratelli e i nostri figli”, ha detto. Ora tocca a noi mutilare.
Non si tratta solo di Yedioth Ahronoth e di Canale 14. Il linguaggio sul Genocidio si è diffuso in tutti gli studi televisivi come linguaggio legittimo. Ex colonnelli, ex membri dell’istitutivo della difesa, siedono nei comitati e invocano il Genocidio senza battere ciglio. Non sono importanti o interessanti, ma plasmano il dibattito.
Quando un giorno gli storici del futuro cercheranno di capire cosa è successo in Israele in quegli anni, scopriranno che queste voci sono la voce del popolo. Questo contribuirà alla loro comprensione: ecco com’era Israele allora.
Questa legittimazione finirà in lacrime, le lacrime dei media che ora promuovono questo linguaggio mostruoso. Chiedete a chiunque voglia far morire di fame due milioni di persone, a chiunque pensi che un bambino di quattro anni meriti di morire e che una persona disabile in sedia a rotelle sia un bersaglio lecito per essere lasciata morire di fame, cosa pensa della libertà di stampa e della libertà di espressione, e scoprirete che sono favorevoli alla chiusura della maggior parte delle testate e alla messa al bando dei media.
Il culmine di questa compiacenza verso l’estrema destra sarà che le cose si ritorceranno contro i media che hanno promosso tale condotta. Peretz, Saada e i loro simili non bramano solo il sangue arabo. Vogliono anche che stiamo zitti.*

Haaretz reports on a Penn State University survey from March on 1,005 Jewish Israelis:
"To the question "Do you support the claim that the IDF, when conquering an enemy city, should act in a manner similar to the way the Israelites acted when they conquered Jericho under the leadership of Joshua, that is, kill all its inhabitants?" 47% of all respondents responded in the affirmative. 65% of those surveyed responded that there is a contemporary incarnation of Amalek, and of these, 93% responded that the commandment to wipe out the memory of Amalek is also relevant to that modern-day Amalek."
