A dear friend of mine and one of the people if not THE person who made me vegan, @Arseni, launched a new website regarding veganism. It explains what veganism is and tackles lots of questions and issues, all through archived Instagram posts he's downloading and posting on the website. It's really educational for vegans and non-vegans. Since lots of people (rightfully) avoid Instagram and Meta services in general (Particularly those on the fediverse.), this is a great way to share informational posts without going to any of those services. Neither of us are earning any money from this, by the way (Closest thing is him having a button to donate on the website, but the website isn't earning money.).

This is a pipe dream, but you know what would be epic? Multiplayer web browsing.
Imagine: you have a little avatar, or maybe a custom cursor, that can move around on a web page, and other people viewing the same web page can see where you are. You can say "oh hey, look at this" and point at something further down the page and someone can scroll to catch up with you.
This avatar overlay system would have hooks that web pages can interact with, for instance a CSS selector that matches "objects that are overlapping an avatar", so you could have a beanbag chair that squishes when someone moves on top of it. You could make "rooms" like in VR Chat or Whirled, but in plain old HTML. Maybe even entire games where parts of the page respond to a specific player's cursor.
If you have any sort of ideas for how to make this work, I'd love to hear them.

do i know any rss wizards? i've been trying to edit and maintain my own feeds but keep having issues and i have no idea what i'm doing wrong so I can not fix it.
problem: items will not show up, or some of them will, from months ago.
- do you know a good template for a simple website update rss feed that i could use as a reference?
- is there a free tool for this if not?

#Copilot and I just finished setting up our first esp32 N16R8 micocontroller/micro #pc. This little guy can now serve as a local webserver hosting webpages inside or outside my house using its built-in wifi5.
One can even host a low traffic website using esp32 as a webserver and the free #Cloudflare service. You simply get a domain name for $10 to $20 a year and set it up in Cloudflare. You will have your own free #website up and running almost instantly.

If your claim submission form gets persnickety that a Canadian postal code MUST have the space i.e. `A1B 2C3` and yet insists that the phone number NOT have any spaces i.e. `6661234567` then I really hate you.
