"We force animals to adapt to the constraints of farming modelled on the mass production of manufactured goods, whereas farming should respect the ethological needs of animals. This is a transgression because we grant ourselves an absolute right that we do not have. This violence towards animals is a condemnation of us. Yet our relationship with animals could be an opportunity to think about a way of inhabiting the Earth that makes coexistence with other species possible. This requires new foundations for ethics and politics."

Veganism is about equal rights and justice
"I'm not vegan 24/7 and thats ok"
=
"I dont respect women 24/7 and thats ok"
=
"I'm not antiracist 24/7 and thats ok"
=
"I don't support lgbt 24/7 and thats ok"Whatever justification you think you have to force innocent animals to be separated from their families, their sexual organs exploited for milk and eggs and killed at a fraction of their lifespan to profit from their dead body, just remember: from the victims perspective they don't give a shit what your justification is and neither would you if you were in their shoes

Speciesism is an intersectional issue
Racist, colonial patriarchal and ableist attitudes inform humans treatment of non-human animals even in so-called "humane" slaughter
"They're fundamentally not like us so its ok"
"If we didn't do it to them they'd do it to us"
"The logic of reality necessitates the strong dominate the weak, by exploiting them we are just ensuring our own survival"
"They wouldn't make use of rights like we can"
"They're worth as much as I can extract from their breasts or eggs, if they're not profitable to keep alive then they'll have to pay with their flesh"
"The problem with them being injured is they become less economically productive"
"Without our exploitation they would be lost, they're actually better off for being part of this system"
"Their brains are fundamentally incapable of higher level emotions" (pseudoscientific nonsense mirroring race science, emotions are not fully understood in humans let alone different ways they might manifest in other brains)
When we excuse these lines of thoughts to justify our exploitation of non-human animals it creeps into our thoughts on other issues, an injustice anywhere is an injustice everywhere
Fundamentally antispeciesism and veganism is about antioppression, equality and justice and a right to health, life, movement, association etc for all sentient beings
This is all I could come up with in about 5m comment more examples below if you want
