Enfin, il faudrait qu'on m'explique la différence de traitement entre d'un côté les Kanaks, les Corses, etc. Et de l'autre les Bretons, les Alsaciens, etc. D'où vient cette incohérence chez LFI ?

Cette proposition reproduit d'ailleurs exactement le même problème que la réforme territoriale votée sous Hollande :
« La réforme territoriale de François Hollande fut largement rejetée parce qu’elle ignorait les identités régionales : dissolution de l’Alsace, maintien de la séparation de la Bretagne historique, création du Grand Est… Seule la réunification normande est généralement considérée comme une réussite.
Le rejet de cette réforme ne venait pas d’un refus du changement, mais du sentiment que les habitants n’avaient plus leur mot à dire sur leur propre territoire. »
Ce billet de blog Médiapart résume parfaitement les problèmes que posent les écorégions proposées par Melenchon. Leur conception-même, sans processus démocratique pour en définir les contours, est pour moi une ligne rouge qui m'empêchera de mettre un bulletin à son nom dans une urne.
« En proposant d’aligner les régions sur les bassins versants, LFI risque de s’aliéner une partie importante de la gauche régionaliste, fédéraliste ou simplement décentralisatrice qui commençait justement à considérer qu’elle avait dépassé son vieux réflexe jacobin. »

Thinking about #forestfires in #canada today. 10 y ago, Rick Schneider put out a report predicting what would happen to the #ecoregions of #Alberta because of 🌡️ #climatechange.
It shocked me 🤯 to see how much more #grassland there would be and how much less 🌲#BorealForest by 2050.
In 2023, I think we’re seeing how this massive #ecological transition plays out. Those trees don’t just disappear- they 🔥 #burn.
And as they burn, they release massive amounts of #carbon.
Last night, I figured out the offending Placemarks. EcoRegion 84c includes two marshy islands In Hempstead Bay: Cinder Island and North Cinder Island. Their boundaries overlap!

And by identifying the Level IV ecoregions of places I care about, it's unlocking new ways of digging around for more local info on #nativeplants.
