#Cookiewall tra silenzi e scuse: non tutto ciò che infastidisce lede un diritto e non tutto ciò che lede un diritto infastidisce.
Leggere un articolo online inizia a essere seccante a causa dell’impiego diffuso dei #cookie #paywall. Viene però il dubbio se al di là del fastidio, che santo cielo possiamo liberamente provare per qualsivoglia cosa dell’universo mondo, non ci sia anche una violazione di qualche tipo di diritto.

Sono felice che sia stata utile a migliaia di persone, per questo ho festeggiato aggiornando un bel po' di cose, ho aggiunnto #Mullvad browser, #LibreY, i metodi per aggirare #cookiewall e #paywall e varie aggiunte/correzioni:

If not, WHY not?
I don't mind paywalls that much (I simply close the site) but I truly hate cookie walls (mostly the "Either allow tracking or pay" kind).
I don't even mind ads, but tracking is a no-go and I want these sites blocked in a big way.

It’s could be great if #privacy focused search engines like :ddg: #DuckDuckGo could have an option to filter out sites with a 🍪 #cookiewall.
I’m tired to spend time clicking on a link and discover I can’t see the content because I do refuse to be traced.
If the search engine is really privacy focussed, those results aren’t pertinent and consequently, shouldn’t be listed at all.

Dopo l'entrata in vigore del #GDPR, il quotidiano austriaco "Der Standard" ha lanciato un tentativo di aggirare la legge: trattamento dei propri dati o l'acquisto di un abbonamento? Eventuali reclami iniziali sono stati ignorati dall'autorità austriaca per la protezione dei dati (DPA), portando a una rapida diffusione dei cookie paywall in Germania e poi in tutta l'UE. Oggi la DPA austriaca ha in parte cambiato idea.
