Okay, let's provide some citations for the big stuff. Web search is our friend! The #Epstein files allege he did it, but Bill Gates' spokesperson denied he acquired antibiotics to secretly administer to his wife... although from her reported account it sounds awfully like his actions on Epstein Island contributed to her divorcing him, and the timing of Epstein's arrest and their divorce at least seems roughly consistent with her not wanting his extra-marital actions to be brought up in public. I can't imagine we'll ever know the whole truth; too much money at stake.
There's also the very reasonable question: why should we care? This might be a fun time to remind readers that with #openSource software, you don't *have* to absolutely trust the developers; you (or your agent) can just read their code! I realise I'm mostly preaching to the choir here on mastodon 😅
