🌍 The contributions of #MissingMaps volunteers are more than @openstreetmap data points. In Baidoa, Somalia, mapping buildings in June supported a survey conducted by @DoctorsWithoutBorders in July, shedding light on the needs of displaced persons. The MSF teams screened more than 21,000 children under 5. The results were published in a press release on August 11. My first contact with a family in Gaza was the Ahel family. This was shortly after I began donating to them. A year later, I still speak daily with Neveen and keep track of the family. The kids started back to school with huge excitement when I was able to send money for school supplies. It's never a certain thing as their survival needs usually eclipse everything else.

I’m sharing this again because I don’t know what else to do. 💔
These are the clothes my children are wearing. They are torn, worn out, and we have no money to replace them.
I’m trying to raise $100 for basic clothes for my six children. I will buy the cheapest things I can find—nothing fancy, just something clean and whole for them to wear.
Please, if you can help with even $5, you would be helping a child replace torn clothes with something decent.
