I continue to plod away, programming for my next demo release. Strangely, I went to Tunes In The Park (a music festival in #Cornwall) at the weekend and saw a few video effects to some acts that I thought I could do that would fit in nicely to my next release. I’ve nearly finished one of them (which looks uncannily like the original) and will now be inserted into the rest of the production. Still unsure if I’ll get it finished in time for the Winter edition of #sillyventure, but we’ll give it a damn good try!

My newly dual-headed Atari 520ST system.

I've had this 520STm 4MB color setup for some years now, but recently expanded it, as I had long been wanting to.

I've just added an SM124 (very sharp) monochrome 72Hz 640x400 display (switching between it and the SC1224 RGB display with a MonitorMaster switchbox that I acquired new about 10 years ago for this eventual purpose). I also have just added an ACSI2STM SD card-based HD emulator.

The stand is an A520 STation, which is a fairly rare item (I've never seen another in use).

I bought the requisite switchbox about 13 years ago, and finally today found and ordered a clean looking SM124 paper-white monochrome CRT monitor for the Atari 520ST, from eBay. (Shipping in original box with original foam, so it seems possible it will survive the trip across the U.S.) (Knock on wood)

It looks like there's JUST enough room atop this A520 STation to fit them both, if I move the HxX2001 into one of the (disconnected) drives' spots in the stand.

I had both an SC1224 and an SM124 on my original 520ST setup back in 1987.

Will post some pics when it's all setup.
