So, Uber asked me if removing UberX (the standard option) would make me sad. They wanted to know if I'd choose a different option or leave the platform entirely.
In all honesty, that would allow only the newer, eco-friendly vehicles to run around, so that's something. The prices aren't any higher, especially if you choose the wait&save option.
The downside, from what I've noticed, is that (all???) EVs have ad displays in the back. Look, I want to do my part and reduce CO₂ emissions, but I absolutely detest ads. Plus, I'm paying for my ride. At least make them free, you know, like those awful mobile games that people play in the bathroom.
