In for a text editor or light IDE that supports syntax highlight, auto-indent, maybe auto-completion, to work mainly on small self-hosted HTML and Python projects.

I value simplicity and light weight. It must be free software and able to run on GNU/Linux GUI. I am not a seasoned developer looking for the ultimate advanced features. And got a bit lost in the vast ecosystems of editors with a lot of whistles.

Looking for suggestions from the community. Thank you! :)

E.g. I know I follow a person but can't recall their handle. Search is useless as i can't restrict it to "following". Handle auto-completion only works if i know enough of the beginning of the handle.
Essentially I have to scroll through my followings, bookmarks, favourites or wherever I think I find them easiest

I’m helping a friend out with a youth event in a couple of months and he wants to setup two PS5's on 32” monitors and then be able to go to a projector and be able to switch back and forth. We won’t be streaming live but I’m thinking the best approach is to run through capture cards into OBS and out to the main projector. Anyone have any thoughts? #AskTheFedi
