Oh Jira... I have not missed you.
org-jira though, you I like.
Shitty platforms don't force shitty tools. It's all just text at the end of the day

*sigh* #Atlassian #Jira, that 21% of my team mates uses Figma doesn't automatically mean I need it.
Why does Atlassian have thus urge to push noise all over the services they provides. I just want to do my job, not being distracted by stuff I don't want to care about right now.
This is such poor #UX experience.

After procrastinating a decision about which Kanban tool to use, I finally weighed all the available choices and landed on @vikunja
I think this was the first time that a software having their presence on Mastodon made part of my reasons to choose something. Another one is the integration with Home Assistant.
So far, so good. Haven't used it for more than a few minutes to create some fake tasks, but it's been nice. Now I need to figure out how to migrate from my old Kanboard.

I think I'm too dumb to understand #JIRA API permissions...
I want to access:
/rest/api/3/issue
/rest/api/3/search/jqlThe docs say I need:
read:issue-details:jira
read:audit-log:jira
read:avatar:jira
read:field-configuration:jira
read:issue-meta:jira
write:issue:jira
write:comment:jira
write:comment.property:jira
write:attachment:jira
read:issue:jiraBut when I run against the API with the token it fails. When I'm doing the same call with an unscoped api token it works. What do I do wrong!?

It's really amazing. When #Jira was introduced in our company quite some years ago, we were really excited. There was this snappy, very user-intuitive system (ex. Bugzilla) that "just works" and feels gratifying to use. Fast forward to today and you have a spying, slow, unreliable piece of shit where you can't add any columns to the bulk editor when you first remove every column, and the selected columns are RESET EVERY TIME YOU SELECT A TICKET!!!
Seriously #Atlassian, just go broke already
