National and Act have cranked up the rhetoric this week because left-wing candidates spoke with gangs. That tactic has backfired because endless photos exist of Nat MPs doing exactly the same thing.
So for no particular reason, here's a photo of Christopher Luxon posing with convicted child sex offender Roger Buchanan.
National's vetting process is still lax. Buchanan was convicted in 2021, yet National still appointed him to their Palmerston North electorate committee.
And of course everyone remembers David Seymour protecting paedophile Tim Jago when he was Act party president.

Whenever I pass the posters for this guy, I think, yes, costly sums up the right leaning parties, really, not just National:
It always results in downgrades of essential quality of life and health/safety infrastructures which the ultra-wealthy are mostly insulated from ... and it is always touted as reduced taxation or 'efficiency' (= gormless cuts which amount to sabotage and diminish morale).
Ironically, most of them look like heart attack candidates who may end up needing emergency care anytime, and the expertise may not be where they are rushed to in the critical period. I saw exactly that happen in the UK. But greed does what it does.

Hello #immich #homelab friends.
Looks like a recent update to the onnx runtime adds telemetry back to Microsoft. Because *of course* we cannot have nice things.
As far as I can tell, none of this has to do with Immich per se, it's a change to an upstream runtime. To the best of my knowledge, none of the telemetry goes to immich.
You can stop the telemetry with:
- Adding `ORT_DISABLE_TELEMETRY=1` to your `.env` file, and/or
- Using pi-hole or another ad-blocking DNS server to intercept and block the requests.
PLEASE DO NOT PILE ON THE IMMICH TEAM. This looks like a tiresome update to a dependency and not any intentional action on Immich's behalf.
