Re: previous post. I called to cancel the mystery ultrasound appointment and discovered it was a referral from November 2025. The appointment was scheduled for January 2027.
So if you're a uterus owner living in Canada, depending on the province you could wait an entire year for diagnostics if you're experiencing unusual bleeding.
Considering myself extremely fortunate that I only had a 4-month wait for a gynecology appointment to remove a small benign cyst.
Maybe someone forgot to cancel the ultrasound once the issue was resolved?
But yeah. A year.

Just made a small batch of cookies (chocolate chip recipe from Chatelaine if anyone's interested), and a batch of tomato soup, black bean soup, and cooked the last of the pre-made pastry shells with a jar of homemade homegrown green tomato mincemeat (ping me if you want the recipe I found for that).
Chopped celery and onions using the food processor over the weekend and threw them in the freezer for cooking. What a revelation! Will do a bunch of carrots so I have ingredients for soup stock ready to go.
The things you don't learn when two generations of people above of you aren't cooks.
Anyway.

It's a #WEC RaweCeek with just two rounds left and I am torn.
I wanna root for the Beemers and see them clinch a WCC, but the Toyotas are on a roll this year with the upgraded GR010. They won the first race of the year at Imola, Le Mans, could have also won in Austin and won the latest at Fuji. And they deserve the trophy.
But Beemers winning 1-2 at Spa was such a delight.
