I love that cold war satire film where Peter Sellers plays three different characters and there's a world destroying doomsday bomb at play.
The Mouse that Roared, 1959

What? You thought I was talking about a different film?

I hadn't thought about the neo-classical rock band Mannheim Steamroller in many years, and decided to check out what they've being doing lately.
They're selling Mannheim Steamroller branded meat seasoning and hot chocolate. Just what everyone has been clamoring for.
(They also released some easy-listening nature themed ambient music albums last year.)

I love this. Harold Lloyd, silent movie star, gets a surprise visit from 'This is your Life' while at a hollywood restaurant; Groucho Marx happens to be seated nearby and can't help but chime in.

My only problem with it is it'll run even if there's no water in the kettle. You can potentially destroy it that way. Maybe they fixed that in later versions.

If you're wondering about the longevity of Fellow's electric water kettle, here's my experience:
I bought one in 2018. It died in 2020 (possibly because I spilt water on the base). Fellow sent me a replacement for free. I've been using it virtually everyday for coffee since then with no issues.
Btw, you can play Snake on the lcd screen.

Found an image of it! Two hours of searching. I can sleep now.
But yeah, you press that orange button on top and it makes a burp noise. 8 year old me thought it was sick.

It's driving me nuts I can't find proof online that this thing existed. I've searched for over an hour. I hope I still have the thing at my parents'.

I was watching a video about weird Garfield merch, and it made me remember this odd insulated lunch bag I had as a kid. It was black, it had an image of Garfield like eating or something, and on the flap it had an orange button. When you squeezed the button, it made a very loud electronic burping noise.
I can't find any images or descriptions of it online. I think I got it in 1998 at a Walmart.

Fixed this problem (somehow) by downgrading from Mac OS 7.6.1 to 7.5.3. 🤷🏻

Myst is not writing save files for some reason. Doesn't give me an error message; it just doesn't do it, no matter what destination folder I select. Hmph.

I have a small "smart" lamp I control with HomeKit. It also has a physical button to turn it on and switch colors, but no physical button to turn it off. You have to use Siri or Home.app to turn it off.
Just why?

I watched the finale of Welcome to Derry last night. Did anyone else notice audio distortion or clipping when the characters were yelling? Wondering if there was something wrong with my speakers or the stream or whatever. #hboMax #welcomeToDerry #audio

I'm trying out this Chrome extension that enables dual language subtitles on Netflix and other sites to help further my German learning. (This is the only thing I'm using Chrome for.)

I deleted my Facebook account. Feels weird. I had no family members on Facebook anyway believe it or not so that wasn't holding me back, but there were several niche groups on there I still had been participating in; I can't seem to find equivalents for them on the Fediverse or elsewhere. I might try to change that myself in the near-ish future.
At this point the only centralized social media I still use is YouTube, Twitch, and Discord.
