My only problem with it is it'll run even if there's no water in the kettle. You can potentially destroy it that way. Maybe they fixed that in later versions.

If you're wondering about the longevity of Fellow's electric water kettle, here's my experience:

I bought one in 2018. It died in 2020 (possibly because I spilt water on the base). Fellow sent me a replacement for free. I've been using it virtually everyday for coffee since then with no issues.

$12 might seem like a lot of money for a vegetable peeler, but honestly this Victorinox is one of my new favourite kitchen gadgets.

Saw a chef on a YouTube channel using one of these and decided I had to have one, because I hate hate hate the "traditional" peeler design.

Compared to usual design, this one peels very smoothly and with very little effort, and feels much more ergonomic and natural. It's very satisfying to use.

4 years ago I bought a #kitchengadget that I still use today. It's a Bosch Autocook - basically an #inductioncooker with an integrated pot, lid, timer and thermostat. Excellent for risotto, stews, soups, warming things up, etc. Quite inexpensive - €85. Then Bosch dropped Autocook products 😞 and the online recipe book 😡, FFS.

I now see that Ninja is making a similar thing that can grill. Great for #tinykitchen & absent-minded cooks.

OK, so, we snagged a deal on an air fryer a while back to assist with quick-and-easy meals since we both are time-and-resource challenged. Surprisingly, tossing frozen stuffs in there actually provides something decent to eat. With this gadget, the love of my life will not be able to set fire to the kitchen - fingers crossed.

I have been researching and bookmarking air fryer websites to build up a good stack of recipe options using the new appliance.
