That mindless touching… 💫
As followers of this blog site can’t have missed, a little over 6 weeks ago, I lost my furry soulmate… 💔 It was during a week that already had started with pain and trauma, and apparently, the week wanted to end in tears… 😭
With the help of many lovely and caring people, I was able to have Arwen cremated privately, so the ashes were/are purely hers. I have a beautiful urn for her, and they saved some ashes separately for a pendant, that I got the week later. Since then, a tiny bit of Arwen has been with me, and it helps, but not enough… 😢

I usually sand my #epoxy #resin pieces to a gloss but I am so sick of #sanding that I tried finishing a set of magnet sliders with UV resin. I sanded the surface up to 600 grit and then cleaned it with isopropyl alcohol. After curing, the top coat instantly delaminated when I pulled the masking tape off the edges. I’ve decided to do an #introduction, which is a little daunting, to me, because I usually give more info than needed. Here we go, anyway. 😊
My name is Sage. I’ma 55 year old woman, with 4 grown children, and am an #atheist. I was diagnosed with #Autism, a few years ago. As a child, I was a non-verbal hand flapper, and never diagnosed. (May have to do with the abusive family, in charge of my care) I’m also the survivor of severe daily trauma, which was sexual, physical, emotional, mental. As a result, I have #CPTSD. 11 years ago, I began, in earnest, to heal myself from the damage people had done to me. I’m doing so well, I feel like I won’t be able to say I have it, in the next couple years. I’m proud of myself. I gave my children the love I desperately wanted, as a child, and I didn’t repeat the abuse cycle. I also gave myself the love I wanted and needed, as a child. It truly changed everything. I think my autism is the most interesting about me, and I’ve grown proud to be #Autistic.
