here's what i did instead, which i should have done before bothering you personally, whimsically, capriciously as it were. to adjust the other settings-- more likely to affect the desired parameters.
ha! did you hear that!? E.g. "KDE Global Theme", oh it was much confusion, as momentarily thought it was budgie.Just playing with stuff. it's been a while since i've meesed w/ KDE. and i'm too poor to buy toys.

I am using #Archlinux and want to replace my current #keyboardlayout with the #workman layout.
The #archwiki and #manpages are incredible - but I find myself unable to grasp which steps exactly I have to do, to accomplish what I aim to achieve.

TIL that #ArchLinux assigns one a #UID which is a randomly #hexadecimal number, which is kinda neat. (Why is the acronym "TIL" and not "TILT"? Why is it "kinda neat" and not "kind of neat" or "neat"? #Prosody!)

I just love how smoothly a Linux system tends to run. I forget I install it to a 7200 RPM hard disk sometimes because it feels at least as responsive as my Windows and macOS installs on SSDs.

Effectively the Archlinux Wiki instructions currently will result in #DNSLeaks. Ie. you're telling the ISP the site that you are about to visit over Tor.
This eliminates your #anonymity/privacy and any #security you thought you might have from #privacy for that session.
Again, if you have an account at the Wiki, please fix ASAP.

how about installing ArchLinux or Debian as the OS on your hardware ?
How about running each Windows version in a Qemu or a Virtualbox instance ?
You can have as many versions as you want and for all the time you saved bake some Spekulatius or Lebkuchen !
