I'm happy to report that the $0.99 m.2 adapter and AX200NGW Wi-Fi 6 m.2 card on AliExpress WORK on both my 2014 MacBook Air and 2015 MacBook Pro!

The AX200NGW also works on my other laptops, a HP 14-dq1025cl and a ThinkPad A475.

Who knew it would take a Wi-Fi 6 card to finally get full Wi-Fi 5 speeds on my network? Time to order some more Wi-Fi cards...

Wenn ich unterwegs bin und mein #apple #macbookair benutze finde ich schon ab und an, dass mein stationärer #linuxmint Rechner noch Luft nach oben hat, was den #bedienkomfort #usability betrifft. Wenn's doch nur 'ne europäische KI gäbe, die mir als Companion für mein Linux Mint die #claudeai von #anthropic ersetzen könnte. Europas Rückstand in Sachen Technologie for costumers ist schon frustrierend.

Ich habe beschlossen, ich bin zu alt für den Scheiss. BootCamp ist nichts mehr für Rentner. In unserem Alter wird noch nach guter Altelternsitte von Hand gearbeitet.
Heisst, Partition freigeschaufelt und Linux installiert. Wie sich das gehört... 😜

Anybody else’s M5 ( or even M4 ) MacBook Air gently roast their legs while using Xcode or am I just lucky? Considering a MacBook Pro next time around or at least an Apple Store Genius Bar visit.
