P.S. I pay my TV licence. Always have. I feel like the spirit of the thing is that if you consume any content created by the SABC (watching their videos, listening to their radio stations, reading their news articles, even following them on social media), then it is good and right and proper that, if you can afford it, you should pay. It's a way of keeping the state broadcaster afloat so that all those poor and marginalised people who CAN'T afford to pay, and for whom the SABC is potentially their only connection to the outside world and their only source of entertainment, still get to enjoy it.
But come on now, SABC. Get your own house in order first. :-D

In case you didn't know (or maybe you forgot), grocery chain #PicknPay allows people to buy groceries using #cryptocurrency. Apparently, they're making around R1-million a month that way (up from R25k a year ago).

#Sixty60 is working on a new app. I must say we use them at least once a week, and the R99 subscription fee for unlimited free deliveries is well worth it!
I just wish they'd release a working desktop app (either in-browser or a native downloadable one, I don't mind which). I hate doing stuff on my phone. I'd be so much happier if I could order Sixty60 while sitting in my nice comfy gaming chair and working on my chonky mechanical keyboard and full-size mouse, looking into my large monitor.

Wow, Swiftnet. Now there's a name I haven't heard for a long time. Many years ago, almost in another life, I worked on the team that developed the line-of-business mobile application (running on Microsoft Windows Pocket PC and written in the .NET Compact Framework) that all their field service technicians used to track their work and file job cards, etc.

SABC+ is doing pretty well in #SouthAfrica. I must say, I like it. It's got real promise, and it's good for people who couldn't be bothered to get a DTT antenna and decoder. It carries all the #SABC channels, including the ones that aren't available on Openview. My only issue is that they don't have an Android TV app yet. :/

I'm very lucky that my #fibre ISP is the same as my #FNO. For most people, this isn't the case. And if that happens, your ISP becomes as much a customer of the FNO as you are of the ISP.
Which totally sucks. I'll gladly pay a bit extra to have one point of responsibility (I'm with Vodacom Fibre, and I couldn't be happier about it).

I was never really a #Nokia person. I had a 3310, of course (didn't absolutely everyone on a planet?), but mostly I was into #Motorola. My first cellphone, back in 2000, was a #Siemens S10, and I still have fond memories of it. And #Erricson wasn't bad either... before they partnered up with Sony (yuck).
