#Dandelions are starting to flower everywhere in Switzerland. They are a great vegetable: they are tasty and you can find enough for a dish basically anywhere. The flower buds taste milder than the rest of the plants, but still have a bitter tang. I like to cook them with carrots and onions which are slightly sweet. This time I also added some brussels sprouts, that were about to go bad. Add soysauce, honey, some sesamy oil and pepper and enjoy!

Stopping to blow some #dandelions on the way home... We hadn't been walking for long and didn't make it much further after this. I had to call Jon and get him to pick us up, because Jake was absolutely exhausted. Not used to no-nap days after the school holidays! 😂❤️

2 hours of work for this much #Dandelion honey. It basically tastes just like honey.
True fact: The Anglo-Saxons called it "piss-a-bed" because it can make you need to pee.
I can't eat honey myself "on account of the #gout " But this stuff doesn't have any of the same issues related to honey from bees.
The kids like it, and I'll eat it, so it's a winner.
Do this... it is worth it.
