The #DGR was great. Very friendly crowd, about 40 bikes way up here. Lots of cool vintage stuff.
Great hospitality at the start and finish too.
Unfortunately my lower back did not enjoy wrestling the #Ural around the rolling hills of rural VT all afternoon. Now maxed out on Advil and flat on my back at the hotel. Hopefully better tomorrow b/c I have to drive 4 hours home.
Worth it tho. Still smiling.

I might be conflating 'charity' with 'not for profit'. If what a 'deductible gift recipient' (#DGR — donations to which are tax-deductible) does 'not for profit' profits the privileged or the nasty, then I'd say that it shouldn't be a DGR.Sorry about the legalese; I had to look up some legislation. 😑
For example:
* a wealthy school (or church) probably shouldn't be a DGR;
* the Australian Jewish Association, one of the nastiest Zionist groups, is largely funded by the Australian Jewish Association Tzedakah, which is a DGR.
