@funfacts_de Soweit ich das einschätzen kann, leistet ihr ein unfassbares Pensum, um #FunFacts an den Start zu bringen. Allein die Arbeit, die in eurer Kernangebot, also die Videos, fließt ist ja schon enorm.

Das Ökosystem da herum ist super gestartet - kann und wird aber auch an sich selbst noch wachsen. Ich kann mir vorstellen, dass es eine aktive Community geben wird, die das Ganze auch jenseits von Geld unterstützt.

I also got gifts from Wikimedia 😃. A pair of socks with Wikipedia jigsaw motifs. A deck of playing cards. This is not a usual one; the figures are historical card pictures and have references to their sources in Wikimedia Commons. I got a beautiful "Wikipedia 25" anniversary cup with a wooden lid and a picture of the universe. Notice the detail: in Germany, cups can have lids for the dust and to preserve the liquid temperature, especially for beer cups.

I also included in the picture the event badge and a custom pin with my Wikipedia username. If you visit one of the following events, you may try to find a stand where you can create your own pin.

Thanks to the organizers for this great event! The Stuttgart Wikipedia community was also super friendly. I fully recommend people living in Stuttgart to join them.

Made some new connections today! I received some 20ga wire in the mail and immediately went to work. I believe Kato used 22ga but this works too. Seems to work just fine. I also added a screenshot of the JMRI web interface and my (crappy) webcam solution. I need a better cam with a higher FOV.😅

And before anyone comments; YES, I know I need to clean my 3d printer workspace! 😂

Temporary setup but I wanted to show it off. I finally got around to converting my loco to DCC. So, the Raspberry Pi is running JMRI and the Arduino Mega is running DCC-EX. I have some Kato turnouts coming in tomorrow that are DCC ready. Cant wait to set them up and control them remotely! Once I get that set up, I'll hook up a webcam to the Pi so I can watch/control it anywhere in the house!
