ゴールデンウィークだからデイキャンプだ！といって、こどもたちを家に残して、こどもの日を1人満喫する配偶者に対し、思うところなしとしない所存。
とりあえず、こどもたちと柏餅を買いに行き、ついでに百均で豆電池を買って帰宅。
柏餅。商店街の和菓子屋といった風情のお店が近くにないので、スーパーで買ったものだけど、僕がこどものときと比べて1/3ぐらいのサイズになっていませんか。おいしいのだけれども、どこか騙された気もするし、社会の行き詰まりを感じさせもする。
街角のこぢんまりとした和菓子屋とか焼き鳥屋のカムバックを望むのですが、昭和に対する郷愁だろうな、これは。豆電池。こどもの腕時計の電池が切れたので、ホームセンターで探したら、1つ680円超えで、電池も高くなったものよ。敬遠してダイソーに行ったら、互換性のある豆電池が110円。すごいよ、百均。
帰宅して、腕時計の電池を交換した後、柏餅をこどもたちと食べました。配偶者の帰りは待ってあげない。
