So... instead of studying I have once again fiddled with my website.... I have updated my comment submission system!!
- Get request from the form is now targeting an hidden iframe, so you are no longer redirected to a random xml results page from #ntfy
- Now has 2 submit buttons: JS and no-JS (hidden using <noscript> tag).
- JS submit button is a reset type, using `.forms.submit` js
- non-JS is a normal submit type (no clearing inputs)

I have just completed a task that I have been #procrastinating for WEEKS. I was already past my deadline and it started giving me bad sleep.
It took me exactly 17 minutes.
Do I learn anything from this experience? Of course not. I will behave exactly the same next time I have a dreaded task. 😥

What I am doing, painting 6mm Macedonian figures and writing a story.
What I should be doing, web coding pages to sell things to earn me some actual spendable money.
But ignore the muses, and they tend to wander off for an unspecified amount of time.

I am currently #procrastinating on grading. After 20 years, to be honest, the infrequent joys of seeing improvement and insights do not make up for it being mostly a #boring slog. #AuthorUpdate - I've been slacking off 🙂 After I wrote 50K on #NaNoWriMo, I wrote about 4K more and tapered off.
Instead, I'm #procrastinating #writing.
I migrated to a new version of my mailing list platform, and updated the onboarding, getting lost in a sea of API keys and CRM requirements, WAY out of my wheelhouse.
I updated my #Scotland and #Ireland #travel #books to 2023 editions, and uploaded those to the various sites. Then I had to attach all my Amazon ads to the new versions.
