This London Vibes shawl was made by my dear tester StarStrong. Instead of a kid-silk yarn, she chose a light fingering-weight sock yarn in a pale lavender shade. Isn’t it gorgeous?! I absolutely love seeing how different yarn choices can give a design such a unique look 😊

Well, that French yarn I showed you last time in that swatch for the geometric shawl: It inspired me for a new shawl! I worked out the patterning, it will have lace in both stockinette and reverse stockinette 😃

I ran into an issue: The instructions for the twisted stitches did not yield the intended result. So, I did some research, and swatching to write instructions that actually work. Of course, I’ll also make step-by-step photo tutorials about these the upcoming months! 😃
