1984. Sega's first home console gets a keyboard. ⌨️🎮

Sega SK-1100. A keyboard peripheral for the SG-1000 (Sega's debut console, released in 1983).

Why a keyboard? Basic programming. Maybe educational dreams. Maybe just "why not?"

Before the Master System. Before Genesis. Sega was already experimenting.

Rare. Weird. Wonderful.

It's finally here, my newest addition to the collection.
The #Sega #SG1000, the very first console Sega ever built in its rare first edition black label version.
Box is a bit tatty and colours on it a little faded but I'm still chuffed to have this incredible piece of #gaming history in my collection.🙂
