As a last parting fun fact for #Enclave2002 you unlock a super strong character after beating the campaign ... or at least you should, the gnome for the evil ones is indeed strong and can slaps anyone without mercy, but the earth golem for the good faction is super disappointing, it's no better than a fully geared knight

Ho identificato la causa dei problemi grafici su GhostBSD/FreeBSD lanciando applicazioni native Linux con la compatibilità. linsysfs non espone correttamente i dispositivi grafici a causa di un bug, impedendo a Vulkan di avviarsi correttamente.
C'è una correzione temporanea che corregge il problema, non riesco a farla andare all'avvio. Se attivata manualmente, funziona.@[email protected] @giochi @computer @[email protected]

Ho notato qualcosa di interessante.
Ho eseguito FNV su Devuan (derivata da Debian) senza DVKX attivo, e la performance è visibilmente peggiore che su BSD anch'esso senza DVKX.
Ho provato su Lutris con più di una versione, con proton è sensibilmente migliore, ma sempre inferiore a BSD.Dovrò confrontare in seguito con altre distribuzioni se è un problema circoscritto a Debian, o se è un componente più generico su Linux.

So after exchanging the AIO in my PC yesterday I played Star Wars Outlaws today. With the Corsair AIO I had to put the fans on the radiator to 'extreme' for my CPU to not overheat. The Be Quiet AIO keeps the temperature of the CPU lower and the fans are barely noticeable. Never been happier with a PC upgrade

Steam is notorious for being an headache to install on Freebsd, and the requirements of the linux-steam-utils package are not either a big deal for the system security, that even the docs recommends to make an user just for it.
But what run Lutris for Linux? It supports Steam between the clients, but I admit I never used Lutris with it.
Perhaps it could bypass the requirement to use Steam? A lot of games do not have need at all of Steam to run. -

Ho trovato la causa dei miei problemi grafici con i giochi su GhostBSD.
Non avevo abilitato DXVK su Wine, e ho notato che GhostBSD non aveva installato il pacchetto mesa-dri drivers autonomamente (diversamente da Linux, succede che le applicazioni non prendano da sole tutto il necessario).
Fatto questo, non trovo differenze tra eseguire FNV su Devuan o sotto GhostBSD. Mi sembra anche un poco più fluido su BSD...

@pertho Yes I can confirm that the issue is really about the Vulkan renderer do not get correctly initialized, as far I understand.
There is this script that seems work, but I have issue to make it start correctly, but the short notes are a bit vague for me.
Somebody can help?
Once FreeBSD can load Vulkan, you don't see differences from running under Linux.It seems the issue is being not able to make correctly /compat/linux/sys/.sys

One annoying quirk of #Enclave2002 is that arrows are hitscans, which means that you the player have almost no way to dodge them once they have been shot

I could begin to dismantle the myth that FreeBSD isn't a good OS to run games.
Perhaps is also that the Linux Kernel is getting stuffed with AI-Slop that is beginning, slowly, to get the hits?

I found out something interesting.
I lacked of DXVK on my installation on GhostBSD, and once set up, the lighting glitch and micro-strutter are solved.
It works flawless as much you would play on Linux, if not appear even smoother somehow.I ran then NV on Linux without DXVK active, and the performance is worse than on FreeBSD without it.
Amazing because on top of wine, you have a layer also for the GPU drivers (unfortunately).
