Started #Gradius Generation/Galaxies (#GBA) and love how detailed the background is. Using a romhack which replaces the original ship with a better looking ship from the Parodius series. Highly recommend the hack as it's a big graphical improvement over the original.

#hitexploded Salamander. Didn't take too long (had a save-state at Stage 4 from previously). It felt a bit weird, finishing the game without having to beat some big final boss, got something else and nice instead though. Changing horizontal and vertical levels is nice and good music. #gradius #shmup

Outside my parents house I found an ancient plastic box with Famicom games. They were to be thrown away 🫢

There are a couple of big hits among them, like Gradius and DragonQuest 1-3.
I put a list in the alt text.
I think the Transformers game is widely known as horribly bad.

I’d like to try them but I don’t have a Famicom base device. 🥲
Probably none of them are worth anything given the condition. So I’ll likely end up giving them to a used game store for like 10 yen a game. But at least I wanted to document and share this first.
