The best cooking life hack I can give is (if you can afford it) buy pre-prepped food (vs raw food - it is usually more expensive than raw food, which is why I say if you can afford it in the long run).

Chopped onions, chopped carrots, chopped mushrooms. Jars of pasta sauce. Saves *so* much time on dumb, boring prep-work that you can spend just cooking the food!

The federal requirements that private health plans cover clinical COVID-19 tests at no out-of-pocket costs and reimburse for 8 at-home tests will end with the public health emergency (#PHE) this week on May 11.

We look at cost for clinical #COVID tests among privately insured and self-pay rates (which apply to people without health insurance). We also scanned major retailer websites for rapid at-home test prices.

YES: This bill would end the active Public Health Emergency (#PHE) that was started by President Trump, and extended for the 12th time last September by President #Biden. The PHE has been repeatedly abused by President Biden to impose #vaccine and #mask mandates; the #eviction moratorium that was recently struck down by the Supreme Court; and to justify his cancellation of over $400 billion in student loan debt. President Biden stated that “the pandemic is over” on September 8, 2022, and I agree with him, however he does not plan to end the PHE until May 11th of this year. This bill will simply do it for us sooner.

I #voted to support this legislation and it passed the House 220 to 210.
