Back in Brooklyn now. On my way back, I stopped at my alma mater- Alfred University in a rural one stoplight town of Alfred, NY.
Nice to see my old sculpture and art school building haunts. While I was there I saw a bunch of old and new professors, sat in on 2 student critiques, and met with a promising young neon bender, artist and glassblower,
and chatted a bunch with my former neon teacher, Sarah Blood.
The roll of paper next to the neon bombarder in the neon shop is the "high tech temperature guage". Long a controversial practice in neon nerddom, when the paper smokes and discolors- the glass is hot. I aim for incinerating the paper :).
Exciting things to see at the school as per usual- an its nice to be back home. About to head back in to work as I type this.

Disbarred attorney #RudyGiuliani ends bogus #bankruptcy case by agreeing to pay an estimated $400k to #creditors including #GlobalDataRisk an investigative firm made up of former #CIA and #FBI agents. By submitting, the cagey Rudy is avoiding further deep-dives into his tricky financial world.
A #NYState judge last month chastised the ex #NYCmayor for repeat failures to disclose his #income and to comply with court orders. Among his #creditors include 2020 #Georgia #election workers Ruby Freeman and Wandrea Moss, who won a $148 million #defamation case against the former #Manhattan based #federal #prosecutor. Moss & Freeman must now challenge Rudy in a #DC court where they won their case, but verdict was set aside while he plead broke.
Other "unsecured creditors" who have cases against the mouthy ex-mayor include #Dominion #Voting Systems, #Smartmatic, and a former #Giuliani employee Noelle Dunphy who alleged #SexualHarassment claims against ""sexst sexual predator and abuser" Rudy .

Got back last night from Niagara Falls on the Ontario, Canada side. Me, Mere and Ilan spent 5 days exploring Northwestern NY state and Niagara Falls, Canada.
Was there some bickering, yes. Was there an 11-year-old on the trip who was full of spunk? Yes.
Overall, memories were made! That’s what matters!

Thinking of going to the Long Island Retro Gaming Expo in August - 25-30 minutes drive, but 90 minutes by mass transit (and more expensive). NY state mass transit is terrible and costs too much for riders because we've had multiple governors in row who hate mass transit (including current one). Fans of Robert Moses should be banned from any elected office in the state.
Anyway, thinking of getting a 3 day pass despite the above as it could be fun; it will be in an aviation museum so that's cool too.
