  1. Wie ben ik nou eigenlijk?
Het antwoord op deze vraag is nog niet zo simpel.
    Wat ben ik nou eigenlijk?
Deze vraag is iets gemakkelijker te beantwoorden.

  2. @gutenberg_org In younger years, I was fascinated by the #Voynich manuscript and all these deciphering hypotheses.
But later I did research about #OutsiderArt of mentally ill people of the Wölfli Foundation and #Prinzhorn Collection en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Outsider for Prinzhorn: sammlung-prinzhorn.de/
I saw so many parallels that I ask myself what if it was individual Outsider #Art? Then we'll never decipher it. Because it was perhaps a very individual talk with a mental situation for surviving it.

  7. "Black Cat on a Chair," Andrew L. von Wittkamp, after 1850.

This charming painting hides a mystery...who was Andrew von Wittkamp? Nothing is known of him, except he puts "M.D." after his signature, suggesting he is a doctor. The style is naive and primitive, but it also shows a keen talent, probably self-taught. Only this, and possibly another, can be attributed to him...if you have an old canvas with his name, you may have a treasure.

And look at how the cat is just a negative black space!

From the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
