Just as I'm about to head out of town, the heat and humidity finally relent and I can open the windows!

Also working on having my own #HomeAssistant theme based on my personal home brand, in the design of Apple’s #LiquidGlass design language.
This is actually not really easy to do even with Claude. Takes a lot of iterations for him to investigate the DOM, still ongoing...

Phoscon ConBee II Review
https://www.allthethings.best/phoscon-conbee-ii-review
The Phoscon ConBee II remains a solid, well-supported Zigbee coordinator for anyone with an existing Home Assistant or deCONZ setup. It's stable, still gets regular firmware updates, and works cleanly with ZHA and Zigbee2MQTT too.

Throwing the Minosoton weatherproof switch in the trash. #HomeAssistant cannot finish loading or pairing.
And apparantly, so too the #Honeywell outdoor switch.
AND NOW ALSO the #GE outdoor switch.
Jesus, guess I'll just use an indoor switch until it fails.
Fuck HA.

Damn, I seem to have forgotten how bad #Zwave is on #HomeAssistant because I'm thinking it's somehow gotten worse than my previous 3 or 4 attempts at HA.
Thank goodness I can un-pair this Minoston switch easily, cuz pairing it is proving to be a trainwreck.

@web_martin 2 working days for 2 highly qualified IT professionals, one 140 km train trip, and it works. I have no clue what we've done differently finally. But once it worked in HAOS VM, moving it to Docker compose containers was relatively easy. #HomeAssistant #Matter #Thread

After connecting my account with my energy provider to #HomeAssistant and looking at the energy usage graph for a given day, I can tell when my wife dried her hair.
That's wild.

Weekend #homeassistant project:
Picked up a Eureka J15 Ultra robot vac, going to install a brain parasite in it ( ie, valetudo).
Wish me luck...

are there any good alternatives to Shelly Pro 3EM electricity meters, that also work with Home Assistant?
Shelly products are overall good, but the update process is reason enough, never to buy Shelly products again - either opening ports on your router, or using a hotspot on your phone to connect the Shelly, while connecting to the Shelly hotspot 🤦. One might think these devs are dumb, or they just want to spy on you.
