Excellent, a real life test. Just had a ~25 second power outage here. The only reason I noticed it at all is that I have #homeassistant turning on a red light when the grid is down.

(And I realized I needed a automation to turn it back off when the grid is back... forgot to setup that, oops).

Skip the GPU Upgrade: Repurpose a Gaming PC or Mac for Immich's ML Queue

My Dell server is too old for a solid GPU, so a big photo import meant a stuck ML queue. Instead of buying hardware, I use a M4 MacBook Pro to burn through the backlog, plus a Home Assistant automation to flag it next time. #immich #homeassistant

I'm so fed up with the ‚release fast, break shit and fix if necessary' approach #homeassistant really frustrated is not an adequate description.

Also working on having my own #HomeAssistant theme based on my personal home brand, in the design of Apple’s #LiquidGlass design language.

This is actually not really easy to do even with Claude. Takes a lot of iterations for him to investigate the DOM, still ongoing...

Damn, I seem to have forgotten how bad #Zwave is on #HomeAssistant because I'm thinking it's somehow gotten worse than my previous 3 or 4 attempts at HA.

Thank goodness I can un-pair this Minoston switch easily, cuz pairing it is proving to be a trainwreck.

@web_martin 2 working days for 2 highly qualified IT professionals, one 140 km train trip, and it works. I have no clue what we've done differently finally. But once it worked in HAOS VM, moving it to Docker compose containers was relatively easy. #HomeAssistant #Matter #Thread
