Das spart Euch 45 Minuten Lebenszeit und einiges an Adrenalin.

Warum das Gerät derzeit 0W einspeist, ist unklar, eventuell möchte es seinen Akku erst ein Mal komplett aufladen. Ich weiß es nicht. (Derzeit ist kein Smart Meter o.ä. angebunden.) Ich finde dazu keine Informationen.

Got a cheap #Tapo/#TP-Link cam to monitor Mocha (my cat) and I’m so bloody surprised how easy it is to integrate into #HomeAssistant. Only a single Tapo integration needed to be installed thru #HACS. It’s so much fucking trouble to add my #Eufy cameras which costs more than 5x each. Fuck Eufy/#Anker, honestly. Trash company.

Das Ganze lokal per #MQTT zu realisieren, klingt natürlich sehr verlockend, aber ich kann diese "native Integration" nirgends finden.
Ist euch da irgendwas dazu bekannt?

I've released version 0.2.0 of the E-Ink Dashboard for Home Assistant. I had a lot of duplicate code PIL renderer in the backend and canvas renderer in the frontend. I found a solution to only have onc: SVG Jinja templates! A browser can display SVG and I can rasterize them for E-Ink Displays. Also the widget are a bit nicer now.

So now my #homeassistant has met.no integration and I have hourly and daily weather for my home.

I have also created local calendars for trash schedule. And Infused Calendar Card Pro from #HACS to show them.
Colored so I know which trash bin to fill before they will be emptied 😅

And on top of that I have a second dashboard for my wife with the weather for the place where the horse is.

So now my #homeassistant has met.no integration and I have hourly and daily weather for my home.

For weeks I've been trying to get #HACS to install on the #homeassistant VM in the camper van. For weeks it's failed - the wget of hacs.zip gets to around 80% and then bombs out. I spent hours diagnosing what on earth was happening, but couldn't get to the bottom of it. I ruled out everything - it just didn't work.
In desperation, I took a backup of the VM and spun it up in the office. It worked fine. WTF? That made no sense at all.
