Erfolg des Tages, nach Kauf eines #IKEA #DIRIGERA Hub “für smarte Produkte”, habe ich es geschafft den IKEA #ALPSTUGA #CO2 Sensor in mein #homeassistant einzubinden.
Versuche mit #SONOFF Dongle-LMG21 oder Dresden Elektronik #ConBee3 und #OpenThread Border Router haben nicht funktioniert.

I have moved #Sonoff #TRV #Thermostat I’ve initially setup for the bathroom to the kids room. I hope it’s sturdy enough…
The previous device #Eve #EveThermo has been raped and pillaged by them to a point it has randomly felt off the valve on operation.
The kids will be the ultimate test for it. If it can survive a month with them, I can go on and buy 4 more of them…😂 #Zigbee #HomeAssistant

It’s very simple device. You can set the temperature in #HomeAssistant or on the device with the wheel.
The temperature sensor is not exposed as sensor, so I had to create a helper in HA.
We will see how it’s going to operate during winter, but I have already ordered standalone temperature and humidity sensors for each room to make it more accurate.

#SmartHome update!
I’ve added yet another #Zigbee device to the list (it’s now 34 devices)…
This time, I’ve got one #Sonoff #TRV #thermostat to test it out as a replacement for outdated bluetooth #Eve #EveEnergy…
A few things come to ming after 2 days:
- the valve adapters are way better than Eve’s
- it’s chunky
- takes 3 batteriesIt was easy enough to set up and pair - works with #ZHA. The display is clear (comes out blue only on photos, it’s white).

One of the connections between the AC input in the #sonoff switch and the output was a black wire. I simply desoldered it.
The other was a #trace on the #pcb. So I cut it with a knife. Deeply.
But it still was connected! There was an identical trace on the other side, difficult to reach. So I grabbed the #Dremel and cut a giant hole on that poor pcb 😬
That is rough. And ugly, and unsafe... but it works perfectly! 😎
Tested the switch with the tester: not only it still works, but the two "output" terminals are disconnected from the mains and now they behaves exactly as if there was a switch between them! -
I’m knackered… First the school, bicycle in the cold, then work, after work there’s kids and Peter’s climbing and after that I had to pick the rest of the family up from a kids party. I was late everywhere the whole goddamn day, and just got home now…😔
On the other hand, #Sonoff #Zigbee usb dongle arrived and 2 #Moes light switches work like a charm with #HomeAssistant. 🥸
Of course hammer and chisel had to be involved, because the second electrical box was as shitty as the first one…😂

Ok. Ich bin grad ziemlich begeistert von dem #zigbee Heizungsthermostat von #Sonoff. Als Ersatz für ein nicht funktionierendes von #Moes.
Anschrauben, drücken und im #Zigbee2mqtt verbunden. Perfekt und ohne Schnickschnack. Und sogar billiger meine ehemalige Empfehlung.

Mein #Sonoff #S20 #MicroPython #OpenSource Projekt ist ein ganzen Stück näher an der realen Benutzbarkeit angekommen. Denn nun kann man seine Zeit-Zone angeben und alle Zeiten werden in der lokalen Zeitzone angezeigt. Nix mehr umrechnen ;)
Außerdem kann man jeder Steckdose mit einem eigenen Namen versehen.
Ansonsten viele Bugs gefixt und einige Tests implementiert und github CI pipeline aufgebaut.
