There was one feature I missed on #sailfishos and I somehow dealt with it, but with my new #jollaphone which arrived week ago, I decided to resolve that: Czech text prediction. I spent some time on it this weekend, and the work is done now!

If you're curious, novels, articles, and plays of Karel Čapek (all public domain for quite a while) were used to create the lang database. So don't be surprised if it's too pushy with salamanders and so on 😉

#JollaPhone camera test. I'm not expecting amazing image quality, but was still hoping for a bit more. Well, at least it's better than #JollaC2 😆

Nach der Reise #Rail_and_Sail_2_Jolla bin ich euch noch meine ersten Eindrücke vom neuen #Jollaphone schuldig. Ich habe auf der Reise einiges Zusammengetragen. Immer noch kein abschließendes Urteil, aber viele Gedanken die heruntergeschrieben werden mussten. Danke für euer vieles Feedback zur Reise. Ich schreibe gerade quasi einen Blogartikel über das neue #Jollaphone. Eignet sich nicht wirklich um in 1000 Häpchen hier serviert zu werden. Problem bislang: Ich habe keinen Blog?! Ob ich jetzt auf die schnelle einen auf meinen Webspace ziehe? Allerdings kenne ich mich. Das bleibt ne einmalige Nummer... #Rail_and_Sail_2_Jolla

Der Abendhimmel auf der Fährfahrt hat einiges an Möglichkeiten gegeben die Kamera vom neuen #JollaPhone etwas zu fordern. Raus kommen Bilder die zu den bisherigen Möglichkeiten der #SailfishOS verfügbaren Geräte einen spürbaren Sprung nach vorn gemacht haben. Ein neuer Nachtmodus holt auch noch mehr aus der Situation heraus. Ein hyped Kameraphone wird es aber nie werden. Für meine Alltagsfotografie bin ich aber wirklich zufrieden. #Rail_and_Sail_2_Jolla

The Day after Day1. Das #JollaPhone hat den Weg in die Hände der ersten Besteller*innen gefunden. Live Performance der neuen Klingeltöne mit hart rockigem Kaamos Black Sound, ja das ist finnisch 😄 Es hat einfach Spaß gemacht sich die Zeit mit den Enthusiast*innen gemeinsam in der Warteschlange zu vertreiben. Am Ende des Tages gab es das vorbestellte Telefon, ein T-Shirt, eine Inari Blue hinterleuchete andere Hälfte und Aufkleber zum mitnehmen. #Rail_and_Sail_2_Jolla #Jolla #JollaDay1
