Пульт красивый, но непонятный. Вскрываем BLE протокол
Иногда новый проект начинается не с технического задания, а с вещи, которая случайно попала в руки. В моём случае это был Bluetooth-пульт Makeblock MBBTCTR01. Красивый? Да. Удобный? Более-менее. Два стика, крестовина, кнопки — всё, что нужно для управления мобильным роботом. А пара тележек с дифференциальным приводом у меня как раз была под рукой.

В статье приведен мой опыт знакомства с Zephyr RTOS на примере создания беспроводной клавиатуры с тремя кнопками ( Enter , Copy , Paste ). Затронуты ключевые аспекты: настройка BLE -стека и HID -сервиса, управление энергопотреблением ( STOP2 , параметры соединения, программный сон), работа с Devicetree ( overlay и правки dtsi ), отладка через RTT , а также типичные проблемы (прошивка CPU2 , EXTI -конфликты, требования HID к шифрованию). Проект полностью воспроизводим и содержит ссылки на полный исходный код и готовую прошивку.

a funny story: few days ago someone raised an issue in BlueZ that mirrored what I discovered 3 years ago (BT Mesh packets aren't being sent with kernel 6.2.x and newer) then posted a code analysis
comment struck as weird, e.g saying "not kernel version-specific" yet actually confirming it's version-specific
then I reached last paragraph: "For transparency: I used AI assistance (Claude) to help dig through the BlueZ and kernel source"

Been working on streamlining my bicycle chain waxing workflow a bit, with a 3D-printed drip rack/hanger, a cheap BLE meat thermometer to read the wax temperature, and an ESP32 with OLED running ESPHome to periodically read the thermometer so I can monitor everything from Home Assistant and send me a notification when the wax has reached its target temperature (using a slow cooker means 2+ hours for the wax to melt).

Блокировки это одно. Их обходят: VLESS, Reality, прокси, про это уже написано много, в том числе у нас. Но есть сценарий жёстче. Интернета нет вообще. Не «YouTube не открывается», а мобильную сеть увели в ноль, Wi-Fi бесполезен, потому что аплинк перекрыт. Такое включают точечно: митинг, площадь, район, иногда целая страна на несколько часов. Вопрос простой: могут ли два телефона в этой ситуации всё равно обменяться сообщением. Без вышек, без интернета, без сервера. Ответ: да, но честный ответ длиннее, и в нём много «но». Мы (команда из трёх человек, делаем мессенджер RCQ) собрали для этого режим, который называется Radio. Ниже что он реально умеет, чего не умеет, и какие грабли мы собрали по дороге.

I used #Bluetooth / #BLE as a short-range stand-in for #LoRa to test #Reticulum mesh behavior with #TBeamSupreme units.
The RSSI graph worked: carry two units away from a base pair, watch signal strength decay, disappear, then recover on return.
The GPS trace? Woeful. Useful lesson: RSSI test succeeded; urban T-Beam GPS precision did not.

Skipping the #TBeamSupreme for this test: two bare #RaspberryPiZero2W boards running #microReticulum with my BLE interface, each sending poetry to the other over their built-in Bluetooth radios.
Two $17 SBCs, 8.8 MB builds, fully secure Reticulum link, and ambidextrous roles: start both, and they decide who is client/server.

Milestone: Torlando’s Python BLE Reticulum protocol behavior has now been partially distilled into a C++ protocol/session core and field-tested between two Raspberry Pi Zero 2Ws. The test moved the full U.S. Constitution both directions over Reticulum using BLE, with C++ fragmentation/session backends confirmed.
