New in #LibResilient — two #DNSLink based transport plugins:
https://resilient.is/blog/new-dnslink-based-transport-plugins/DNSLink makes a lot of sense in LibResilient: DNS is often more reliable than web, and DNSLink offers a way to make certain information — here: where to fetch content from — available in case the main site is down without having to put that in the configuration.
This means more flexibility in case main site is down. Easier to push out updates related to alternative endpoints or current IPFS CID.

Recently I updated my personal website.
I used the same stack, but the performance and accessibility should be a lot better.
Over time I'll be adding to and improving this site. I've decided to go with "Just make it exist first, you can make it good later" which can apply to many of my projects.

💉 Where are children missing measles vaccines — and when?
🌍 A new high-resolution mapping approach reveals local vaccination gaps in Côte d’Ivoire, showing that many children receive the measles vaccine later than recommended.
By identifying gaps by both age and location, health workers can better target routine immunisation and catch-up campaigns.

New by me: New Glasses, New Network, Final Stretch (Week 12, 2026)
My final BSIT class started, I reworked my home network, got new glasses ordered, ran around all day with family errands, and tried pistachio ice cream for the first time which honestly lived up to the hype.
It was a pretty full week. A little anxious in spots, but still moving forward.

I guess the #NationalScienceFoundation must be one of those prepper cultists groups... Oh, and there's another potential active area (known as a #SolarPlage) about to become Earth-facing. I noticed that on the latest #SolarHam image. The plage will more than likely become #AR3673. Will it be as large and active as #AR3664?
Scientists Developed New Model to Predict #Sunspot and #Plage Coverage for #SolarCycle25
"#SolarFlares and coronal mass ejections (#CMEs) are eruptive events that impact #satellites, communication networks, electric power grids, and technological infrastructures."

Discovered today that Chrome DevTools has a "Local Overrides" option. It saved my behind. I wish Firefox had an option like this, but I'll use any tool available if need be.
https://developer.chrome.com/blog/new-in-devtools-65/#overrides
(I messed up some custom JS in a LibGuides test page that broke (just) that test page in such a way I could no longer access the Guide Custom JS/CSS menu to undo the change. Using local override I was able to disable the borked JS and access the menu again.)
