I'm not very mobile in the last few weeks and even though I have two weeks off work, I cannot really go anywhere. I've been spending some time coding and I wantd to share one observation.

If you care about #UserExperience you must have control over your dependencies or your dependenices must share the same goals with regards to user experience as you, and must react quickly.

Being able to control elements up and down the stack is critical when you realize something needs changing.

👨🏻‍🦲 Me when I go to a restaurant website: I want to look at your hours and menu.

🕸️ The website: You want a modal dialog that prompts you to subscribe to my newsletter, right?

👨🏻‍🦲: Fuck you, stop that bullshit.
