yo is anyone else noticing the #krita #flatpak being EXTREMELY slow today?
anytime I open a file or a new one it takes like 15 seconds before you can even draw on the canvas, and if i want to use another tool it takes another 15 seconds before I can use it
last time I used it it was just fine— between then and now I didn’t even update krita itself.
and yes I did reset the app to its original config; no difference

Leider musste ich feststellen, dass #NextCloud seine Clients nur noch als #AppImage (Files) oder #FlatPak (Talk) zur Verfügung stellt, nicht mehr als #Debian-Paket, und diese Paketquellen haben nicht selten Probleme mit dem seit einiger Zeit aktuellen Pipewire-Audiosystem von Linux.
Das Flatpak macht dabei zunächst mal genau das, was der Grund ist, dass Leute keine Debian-Pakete mehr verwenden wollen: Es beschwert sich über irgendwelche fehlenden Runtimes und ähnliches.
Das behebe ich als Nerd, woraufhin Flatpack etwa 1GB an Runtime-Gedönse runterlädt. Genauso schlecht wie Windows eben.
Dann kann ich nicht auf die Kamera zugreifen. „Fehler beim Zugriff auf die Kamera”. Ich versuche irgendwas mit Flatpak Permissions und scheitere.

@dajelinux Ho usato #flatpak per la prima volta solo ieri (shame on me 😓 ) , quando mi sono trovato ad installare Waterfox su Fedora (dopo un vita di solo Debian e apt). Comodo!
AppImage lo avevo usato, ma mi stava sempre un po' antipatico proprio per la scarsa o nulla integrazione nel sistema.

Kubuntu viene con snap por default, lo cual si bien a mi me anda bien, su formato es parecido a los que usar wind... Ahora si lo limpiamos y pasamos a flatpak por default?

What drives the complaints about snaps, flatpaks, and appimages? I obviously use official packages when they exist, but I don't mind using flatpaks or appimages if needed.
