How safe is Proton Pass if installed from the FlatHub?

The ownership of the me.proton.Pass app ID has not been verified and it may be a community package

I usually trust community maintained open source packages. But with the password managers I want to be extra careful. A password manager app is probably the most sensitive piece of software in the PC. So I want to be 100% sure it's safe. Is it safe? Question.

Gentoo Linux is preparing to remove the Chromium browser package from its official repositories on October 24 unless a new volunteer takes over maintenance.

Maintaining the package has become unsustainable for the current solo maintainer due to frequent upstream releases, complex custom build options, and heavy time commitments.
