We are currently at 17 release blockers for FreeCAD 1.1, so the FPA members have raised the price per fixed release blocker from $50 to $100.Meanwhile, two more people have collected bugfix rewards:

I was asked to print card holders for Munchkin board game. Most of the models I found were corners, or separators for existing boxes, and I didn't imagine it would be too pleasant to pick a card out, or place it in.
Thankfully, I found a photo of a model of this kind, and since it was unavailable, I reverse-modelled it, with added squirrels and cats.
Used #FreeCAD, #Inkscape, #Cura, and my heavily modified Ender 3v2.
If you by any chance remember my neverending struggle with layer shifts, it finally ended with replacing the board, and installing CrTouch. Whatever was wrong with the board, I'll never know, as it looked and smelled fine, and wasn't overheating at all.

When dependent files are auto-loaded into the workspace , they are only partially loaded!
All edits will be lost if you dont reload file.See reload in context menu( right click) file in the tree-viewer.
The clue, that is easy to miss, is a warning in the report view.

Our cat uses a classic Corelle® 18 oz - 0.5 litre cereal bowl for her water. She pulls it across the floor and usually leaves spilled water on the hardwood floor.
This support stand is my attempt to prevent water damage. It failed on the first several tries! The cat seems to be smarter than me.
The first several passes had 3 arms. She found a way of tipping it over. The latest iteration has 5 arms. That is still to be tested. I added anti-slip pads, which stopped the sliding but caused the tipping.

While earching for correct pre-existing FFC from random websites is not really that fun, I decided to do something else..
This is a new plastic retainer part which should eventually help against the cable fatigue.

#FreeCADFriday modelled Inlays for my spice rack to prevent all those spices from tipping over as they were only resting on two wires. The entire print took around 24h due to all the hexagons 🙈 #3DJGummikuh

@FreeCAD Inspired by a design from Patrick Blom (@pbl0m / https://www.printables.com/model/1461731-bathroom-twitter-box/comments/2950298), I'm working on a DIY twitterbox. This is WIP!
The back is going to be #3dprinted (maybe in two parts with the backplate made out of transparent PETG - I'm not sure yet). The front is going to be made out of wood (multiplex birch). I'm planning to try out the new #CNC router in my local #hackerspace / #makerspace for this.

I've dedicated this #FreeCADFriday to my first tool holder for my newly installed euro peg board. I wasn' t satisfied with what was already available. I could already use the current version but I'd like to improve it some more. Of course, I'm going to share the final model.

@FreeCAD I've printed the design today. It worked flawlessly without support. Yes, the detailed contact area of the tilt support might be over-engineered for a FDM printer with a 0.4 mm nozzle. But isn't there a saying? You can never be overdressed or over-engineered (or something like that). However, it fits great. I'm going to add a rubber strip between the printed part and the light but otherwise, that's it (apart from publishing the model -> 2do list 😬 )

On todays #FreeCADFriday , I've worked on projects from last time (https://chaos.social/@M4x/113647399133945312).
The hook was tested but I've to adjust the dimensions a bit. The bracket which can (hopefully) pushed on top of the mesh basket of a kids bicycle got #3dprinted today (photo is going to follow).

@FreeCAD I've worked on several small models today. As I have not yet had the time to fix my #3dprinter, this increases the backlog for print jobs... Check out the alt-text for details. Since I haven't yet printed any of these, the designs aren't published yet.

@e_es Schön, dass es geklappt hat! Falls du an Tipps interessiert bist: Ich empfehle dringend Sketche immer vollständig zu bemaßen. Auch die Bevorzugung von Hilfsgeometrien und geometrischen Beschränkungen zu Gunsten von weniger Bemaßungen empfehle ich gerne. Beispiel anbei.

@Hippie Thanks for sharing your model! Very interesting. What kind of metal are you going to use? Are you goign to create technical drawings via the TechDraw WB too?Regarding your model:
1. It's a common way to arrange the different Bodys the way you did. Another approach would be to use the new integrated Assembly WB (available in the latest development version or the release clients for the upcoming v1.0 release). -
@mart_e In case you're looking for (only) SVG files on a regular basis, from the #FreeCAD wiki (https://wiki.freecad.org/SVG): "To exclusively create 2D shapes, and produce SVG files, there are alternative programs like Inkscape."

Делаем резервное питание для роутера
На самом деле резервное питание мы будем делать для ONT (Optical Network Terminal), но т.к. способ подходит для всех подобных устройств с 12v питанием, то обобщил до "роутера". Цель: сделать устройство которое при отключении электроэнергии сможет питать роутер некоторое время. При этом: на устройстве должна быть индикация напряжения аккумулятора, при переключении с основного контура питания на резервный основной контур питания должен разрываться полностью и наоборот.

This #FreeCADFriday I wanted to show off this assembly I made. It's a #Seaperch underwater #ROV chassis. The Seaperch design is regularly used in education/academic underwater challenges and I wanted to be able to model custom bits to the (made from PVC) tube frame. I only had to model 3 parts (including a parametric tube) so I could then use the newer Assembly workbench to put this all together. #CAD #STEM #STEAM

Anyone out there using @FreeCAD for CAM and have any good tutorials?
I’m trying to figure out if there is a free software workflow for CAD/CAM or if taking machining up again will require setting up my Mac for Fusion.
