It is Rocket Day in #minnesota ! Join us on a sod farm in North Branch for the biggest launch of the year. The College and University teams will also be back from summer break and they will start testing their competition rockets. Lots of high power rockets, the waiver will be open to 20,000 ft.

We also will have the annual night launch starting at 7.30 pm.

I have been building rockets with a friend's son since he was 4. Now 12 years old he won a purple ribbon (Grand Champion) at the #minnesota state fair for his slightly enlarged "Big Bertha". A friend and I made a parts set and he assembled and painted it. The original is an #estes rocket from the 60s, a little over a foot tall. His version is a bit over 8 ft. We will fly it next weekend.
