  2. I have been building rockets with a friend's son since he was 4. Now 12 years old he won a purple ribbon (Grand Champion) at the #minnesota state fair for his slightly enlarged "Big Bertha". A friend and I made a parts set and he assembled and painted it. The original is an #estes rocket from the 60s, a little over a foot tall. His version is a bit over 8 ft. We will fly it next weekend.
